Tarmac drives are our specialty, we take a simple process that has been around for over 100 years and give it a modern and designer look using selected tegualer blocks for picture framing and edging, our heavy duty Via drive 20mm top coats insure a quality finish that will stand the test of time.
Like most things its all in the preparation, we take time to excavate the whole area properly, introducing a new type 1 hardcore sub base including a geo-textile weed suppressant membrane.
It’s important to consider water displacement when installing a tarmac drive, we take the time to consider any possible drainage issues and ACO drain installation before we start any drive.
We only install the best quality tarmac drives, after our intensive preparation work we install a 60mm tarmac base and a circa 20mm tarmac VIA drive top coat, this is the only top coat that can handle Britain’s extreme weather and heavy / 4×4 vehicles, anything less can move and rip in time.
We have all seen those cheap tarmac drives laid several years ago which are now starting to crumble.
While cheap tarmac drives look great for the first couple of years, that thin 5mm top coat will soon start to crumble leaving you with a big problem. Don’t scrimp on quality products, a 20mm Via drive top coat is the only way to go. We wont install anything less.
